Crimes of Passion

by ornella   Dec 5, 2012

Why does it hurt every time she cries?
Please give her a reason
She needs to know why
Why is she afraid of losing the one she loves?
When all he does is hurt her
She can no longer tell whether she has had enough

Why does the tears always leave her face?
Leaving on her tongue an ugly bitter taste
She is never free
Only lost behind the shadows of what she use to be
Having nowhere to go but to that man again
Who laughs because he has her like death has no end

Why can no one help her?
When she can't seem to find herself
He will stay with her forever
Because she has no one else
Its crimes of passion that's what its called
A fairy tale beginning
And a terrifying ending after it all.

Brilliant!! I loved the word you chose here. Away of some grammatical errors, this poem is full of passion starting from the title till the end. I loved your way of begining the poem with questioning then presenting the consequences of his ignoring to her as a result. Some words have to be revised, however. For example in the expression "because he have her like death has no end" should be "he has" and "When all he does is hurts her" if I'm not mistaken, should be "is hurt her". Well these are minor points but you did well with dividing the poems into 3 stanzas as a resting period for the author.
    Nice poem
