Alone

A dark or melancholy tone
From a bright eyed girl fighting all alone
Pushing alone against a current that's too strong to stand up to on her own
A good hearted person dealing with the problems of many
Forced to face it alone
Marred by unkind words and traumas
Scarred by cuts and burns
She sees someone who is ugly as she stares at her reflection
Recalling every vile situation she's been placed in
She can't accept herself
She may start to feel a little better and someone tries to tear her back down
5 steps forward, 20 steps back
So broken, and fragile, but willing to try again
Standing on her own
Facing a situation where she fears she will always be alone.

    You know what I find interesting about this piece is that it says at the end you know you'll be alone, however, it doesn't mean that you are planning to sink and give up. It seems that you are ready to continue giving those 5 steps forward even if you end up giving 20 steps backwards..

    Which means that you started at 0... You give 5 then 20 back? You end up at 0 again.. Cause the negativity is not part of your life... so one day it will only go forward and not backwards.

    Pretty interwstig... The above is my assumption.
