Treasure Awaits

by Scarlett   Dec 7, 2012

Imagine the thought of hindsight
Shall it correct the wrong
Or simply lead to the inevitable?
Wrap your mind around the faintest idea
Shall it not become clear
or simply disappear?
Dig deep within yourself a certain memory
Shall you find the X on the treasure map
Or has the golden moment been lost for all time?
Forget looking back to hindsight
Let the past be the past
Never stop having new ideas
For the present is yours to grasp
Continue searching for true peace
That will guide you to your future
Only then can you define who want to be
Live your life for that possibility
Always moving forward
Til' at last you find your treasure

Yup, the past is the past and it should be left as the past. It's only there for reassurance and not to be lived in.

I like the part about keep thinking new ideas... Think outside the box. And it might be easier to find the treasure.

    Good write
