This Soundless Melody

by King II   Dec 7, 2012

This soundless melody I want to sing
In present living Lord, my God, my King.
With him converse my soul in grateful song,
Which surveys innermost desires that throng
From where worship, beseeching love abound-
For he, to heal my maimed heart, does resound,
Eyes sealed, but faith unwrapped with bended knees
That needs, like child, in chaos, gentle peace.
To wander not outside the bounds of pray'r
When sing for mercy, all my thoughts, and care.
So, to my song, henceforth, while God listens,
Pours out his grace, does mend and cleanse my sins.
My heart exhausted be with burdens vast,
But still in silence sings 'til words will last.
