Bloody tears drip from a broken heart
as she grabs the blade from the wound she smiles
then her body goes numb but now she can breathe
she's happy that she doesn't ever have to hurt again
happy cause now she's free
she wants to let go as she reaches for the light coming close
flying further and further awat from life
she feels as if this is not meant for her
she cries cause she doesn't wanna stay
cause she was so close to happiness that in a split secong taken away
she cries cause God isn't killing her fast enough
everyday she wakes up wishing she was dead
wishing the next time her man would beat her body lifeless
because at this point living hurts more than his punches
the blow from this 6'3 300lb man causes her to double over
she drops to her knees crying out
"baby wait". "Baby please" "It wont happen again"
and as loud as he can he yells.
"shut up and stop begging"
she takes a deep breath praying that this will be her last sad to say an hour later covered in bruises she opens her eyes once more :-(
