Sitting here,
Looking through my yearbook,
I realize that this year changed us,
Every single one of us,
Tears forming in my eyes,
I know that at graduation,
That was one of our last goodbyes,
Everyone is parting,
Going there own ways,
Miller is leaving,
Hileman as well,
We all remember physical fitness,
It was the day we were all anticipating for the bell,
Mr. Miller was harsh,
But he taught us so much,
Mr. Hileman was the laid back one,
He made Science and Social Studies class fun,
During the year we all experienced a tragedy,
Something we will never forget,
A special man to us left this place,
Even though he is no longer here,
We will still see his face,
Mr. T we would call him,
He was in ways like Hileman,
Always fun and never a day passed,
When we wouldn’t here about his cars,
Mr. Thompson made imprints in all of our hearts,
Even kids who didn’t have class with him,
When we heard the news,
Nothing could compare to the sadness we felt,
We will miss him, yes that’s true,
But, we need to focus on the future,
I’m sure that is what he would want us to do,
The times we all shared were the best,
But we slowly drift like all the rest,
Our lives are changing and so are we,
This is our fate,
This is how it has to be,
I will never forget the friends I made,
And these memories will never fade,
Some are moving,
Others just too proud to say hello,
Chorus did well this year,
We even got first superior,
Strip for a dollar,
Will always be remembered,
And so will Ryan’s too,
Sadness rushes over me,
Sitting here,
Looking at my yearbook,
Beginning to cry,
And to some friends,
Having the courage to say goodbye,
And the second we walked through that door,
We were known as the class of 2004.
