i like the detail in this poem.

What the heck??? Where on Earth do you get your ideas from? From a simple sweater, you can give a poem so much power..so much sadness....I feel lonelienss and heartache and confusion when I read this piece. I can picture the sweater, and oddly enough I can understand what you are trying to say when using it as an example....

You by far are my favorite poet Maryanne, you use words in a way no one does here, you use an idea and bring forth such a different outlook on a feeling we all can go through or have been through...

Christmas is supposed to bring out our spirit but sometimes we are lost in all the year has thrown at us, and I see the sweater as a metaphor for the past and what has been before,

The piece was sad, and there were parts that made all the hairs on my arms stand up, it was deep and powerful, yet beautiful and creative at the same time,
