Andrea, This piece felt soothing in its flow yet disturbing in the imagery... i had this thought of an angel being taken advantage of, falling from the skies and landing on the paitings of van gogh...
I'm shattered...and its late (early) so that doesn't help with your amazing writing.

You made me all a bit confused....how will I sleep.now?

This poem can have many interpretations and it seems to be that a person who is sad and confused is waiting for a burst of good to happen to her.
    I like this piece. Different!
    Excellent as always:)

This is very powerful Maple, you have described a character with such pain inside that she feels she is so confused about where to go in life and what the future holds. It comes across like she feels trapped. "a tangled webbed disaster" - maybe she feels stuck inside a certain situation because she has no control over it.

There is a lot to take in with this poem, the self destruction part is perhaps something she does to cope with this inner turmoil. It could even be a bad habit and a psychological one at that too, like shutting off from people or shutting down in herself.

THe confetti stars is such a beuatiful image, to imagine all these colourful stars falling, but then the words falling and stars put toegther make such a sad sound. Stars should be strong standing in the sky and not falling down anywhere, I think this would be how she felt though, like everything was falling down around her.

The loneliness in the last stanza really cries out and is what the reader is left with which is such a sad image.

    Nice work as usual x
