Moon Dust And Stars

by Baby Rainbow   Dec 19, 2012

Moon dust sprinkled

like a million drops

of glitter,

as they land

underneath

my soft pillow.

Twinkling stars

dancing in the sky

like ballerinas,

to remind me

just how

close you are.

I lay my

head down and

think of you

and the warming

comfort which this

night time brings.

While the silver

moon shines down

on me and covers

me with a velvet

security blanket

of moon dust

and stars.

The shape reminded me of a closed umbrella, though I don't think it was intended, it was a nice touch to the piece.
The elegant wording and gentleness of the imagery was breathtaking

Saffie, you really are such an awesome talent when it comes to the imagery in a piece
