A few nights ago, the temperature dropped pretty low and I saw under a bridge a mother and her child (who looked to be about 8 or 9).. someone had stopped to give them a blanket, but then a few miles further I saw a small field and all the crops were covered up so that they wouldn't suffer damage. This poem sort of reminded me of what I saw that night. I'm not sure if this is what you intended in its meaning, but it was all I could think of. Thanks for sharing. |
