I Want To Place Their Hands Together And Their Hearts

To a very special couple who hopefully will get to see the whole world together. They are a part of my life whether they like it or not, and I will goo and ga over their romantic moments and stress when one of them isn't alright. What I'd give to have what they have. I hope they know they are LUCKY.

They fight without shouts
He crys within without letting it out
She wishes it was alright, falling into place

A silent figure listens behind the words
Sternly glancing between the lines
Wonder if they'll be fine
Knows their love is strong

Each word is pleading to the other
"I'm okay", will please him forever
She struggles to keep herself together
"Be okay, be okay", he whispers
Doesn't he get what she needs

A boy falls in love with a girl
And in his hands he'd give her the whole world
Throw himself infront of a train
He'll kiss her fingers with a twinkle in his eyes
He just wants to take away her pain

A young girl gives him her heart in his hands
He promises to hold onto it tight
But maybe there's some fear that that's not where he stands
She holds back as she's afraid to speak
Will he ever understand the comfort she seeks

"Do you think we could talk this out
Because I really don't think I could live without"
"Are you okay now I just want you to be okay"
"I love you I'll always be here."
Repeats an extra blind lover endlessly

"I know"
I love you too"
"But I can't talk right now."
"I'm not okay."
What has taken her into misery

If that background voice could say anything
She'd bring up the pain they bring
The happiness that could sprout
If they truthfully let it out
Because their love is truly real

I want to scream at them so her tears won't stream
He talks about you all the time
You're his whole world
He has been worried sick about you
All he wants is to make you happy
