Boy: If only you knew.

by lillie   Dec 29, 2012

I order a quiet spot, one table for two.
They lit one candle for me, and the other for you.

This moment had to be perfect, it had to be true.
Your Pink poke-dot dress, matched each stiletto shoe.

This shirt made of a colour you loved the most.
I loved the way your eyes sparkled, as we raised our
glass to make a toast.

You begin to blush, and I begin to stutter as I speak.
My love for you grows, your love makes me weak.

We speak about a girl I love so very much,
You lose focus, distant, I think we lost our touch.

I wonder, who is this guy that has your heart?
Thinking about you with another tears me apart.

"I love her, I do, more than I'll ever know"
She looks down, smiling, with such a sparkling glow.

The woman I'm in love with sits right in front of me.
I can't bare it, Its only her my heart will ever see.

She loves another man, a man I'll never know.
But each and everyday, my heart aches, as my feelings
only grow.

Could I really tell her, and face the rejection of my life?
In secrecy its her, I'd like to call my future, my wife.
