Conspiracy

There once was a soldier so odd
He stood in front of a firing squad
Shot off his loud mouth
Til his tongue went south
Looked up and screamed fire! oh my God!

It was so short I had to read it again and again. Trying to get the meaning of your write. For some odd reason, what I came up with was that he killed himself. It's like he commanded the firing squad to shoot him. Anyway, that's just my interpretation. And for leaving me still confused (and I'll probably be thinking about it), I give this a 5.

I love this type of poems, short and brief but powerful, bearing a strong message. I could imagine this happening with the soldier with his tongue going south.

    Great poem.

This is funny as the imagery you set here is hilarious and the action of his tongue and I could picture him of how funny he could be, though I don't get the relevancy of the title with the content, but still I like the picturization.
    Well done:)
    Nice piece(:

This poem has a strange sense of humor, I'm just wondering did the soldier burn his tongue or get into trouble for saying something he shouldn't have said?
I think this is a funny short poem I just wish I knew exactly what happen to the soldier.
