Sincerest Apology

by Saerelune   Dec 29, 2012

If I knew, if I ever knew
that walking this road together
would cause you to stumble,
that offering you a smile
could cause myself to cry,
that hollowing your soul
would ruin your life ...
then, dearest, let us stop
walking, let us be tramps
in this landscape of broken
hearts, ever scraping
at the soles of our feet,
let us feel hunger, let us
be fed from palms so white
it could outshine the dreams
we ever had ... and so,
let us die, let me die,
lay me down like a flower
upon a grave, and let me
apologize for the only love
I ever craved.

This is sad. And yet lovely. That's the word my mind could think of after the last line of this piece hits my eye.

    But it isn't dark-ish.

Of all sadness, dissapointment, astonishment, and the willingness to let go of the love that one's love the most truly makes this piece looks beautiful instead of clarifying the fact the ones is hurt.

An apology for being attached, and for all the emotions and broken dreams that is freed; why do I never think of this before?

I can feel this! Amazing one and captivating. So true, sometimes love isnt the way we want it to be.
    Keep penning(:
