Day visions (Haiku Chain)

by Poet on the Piano   Dec 29, 2012

A hat for snow's lights,
to keep her tears from mixing
with earth's white body.

Hours ago are
no longer remaining wounds,
for flurries nurse her.

Wanting to catch winds,
before hope scurries away-
skin washed in wonder.

Serene piece, the images of snow falling upon your head and the need for a hat to impede the snow from uniting with your tears, it's well written that I can envision it very well. But what I found serene was the part about the snow nursing your wounds. I can't help but picture a lot of snow surrounding everything and silence, somehow it brings peace to my mind.

    beautiful.
