Eyes wondering to a clearing
Your voice is all i've been hearing
life feeling a little less fulfilled
drawing blanks in my mind as if its been drilled
the holes bleed and knowledge slips away
forgetting life and all we know to this very day
leaching on to what i may still hold
but the mind plays tricks where the heart is upfront and bold
losing the things you thought best
but salvaging the uncovered truth with all the rest
its spirals down to the never ending drain
no thoughts no questions or even an ounce of pain
once drained of the knowledge which is you
the mind and body seem at ease after which we have gone through
a sporadic serge streams threw the body
leaving the skin flush not red and spotty
with the heart guiding my purpose in this worlds life
making my mind stable after walking on the blade of a knife
no slips nor falls could cut me down
my love inside must be shared before i drown
