Did you know
That I can’t let go
Can’t get you out of my head
Just wish I were dead
Look at the stars
Only left with scars
I picked out a star for you
How I would love to start anew
Same thoughts different day
My mind is disarray
Only wanting your heart
But you had to depart
Empty Dreaming
Look at your eyes beaming
How I would do anything to get you back
So many poems about you I can’t keep track
Another one to add to my collection
Never again will I have your affection
I would run a mile
Just to see you smile
But its all been taken away
Look at the trees how they sway
Outside in the late night
Still don’t feel all right
Look at the stars
Just look back at what was ours
The star I picked for you still shines bright
What a lonely night it is tonight
The thought of you ignites my sorrow
Maybe there won’t be a tomorrow
No matter how hard I may try
I can’t say goodbye
And even though you have forgotten me your free
You star still shines at me
