My lost Love

by Matthew Proctor   Jun 30, 2004

I stand alone...
Wishing you were there,
to fill this void held within
my lost blank stare.

I'm alone...
Yet at on time I was loved,
and for a brief moment I was held...
I felt the joy that only your love
could inspire, we once were one..Only if it was for a moment...One Moment.

There are times...
When the feeling rushes through me, letting me know I'm about as lonely as a man can ever be...I need a love who will help me get through, someone who will love me no matter what I do.

In my loneliness...
I'm drowning with fear, and it
consumes me and brings me to tears...Because my loneliness won't go away, it grows stronger and deeper everyday.

So I'll tell you...
From everything to everyone...Until I swear the loneliness has won...And the ache that is such a part of me, suffocates the very heart of me.

This poem is dedicated to those that feel the same way.

Please tell me what you think.
