1,000 miles away i stare
looking for something that isnt there.
i've felt agony so many times before
but to feel it again i thought would be no more.
i trusted what i knew i shouldn't.
this journey i tried to take my heart simply couldn't.
and now im hear all alone.. with my thoughts once again
writing on paper, that i cant win.
listening to that song that reminded me of him
dreaming of something that's so far today.
like grasping for something so wonderful then its taken away.
emotion has never been so keen.. on this night that i wont dream..
i wont sleep,
i wont think..
i wont ....
i will stare at the stars 1,000 miles away for that thing..
maybe one day it'll be there for me to call my own..
whatever it may be..maybe it will see...
