Two Lost Souls

by Maria   Jan 10, 2013

Somewhere in the city, a girl sits alone
drinking until she can't stand on her feet.
She regrets saying those words,
slamming that door,
going back to him again and again,
she wishes she could meet someone new.

At a forgotten corner, a boy tries
to hold back his tears.
He regrets not saying those words,
not opening that door,
not meeting her just for once,
he wishes he was the one.
