When and Why?

How far down the earths timeline will humanity be lost?
Replaced by hypocrisy, dishonesty and lies.
Forward thinking could get you shot.
Strung neck up from 13 knots.
Left hanging to rot.

How much longer will the world be fine with our leaders all insane?
Hamburger stands across the land shut down without a dime.

Media's dribbling drivel, that I should believe.
Internet shits on everything.
What fools we all must be.

    I love this!!

    very thought provoking and eye opening as to what the future holds based upon the way the world is right now and what everyone has as their priorities which all seem to be in the wrong order!

    I like how you added the internet and media into it, because they have a major part of our society and what they are shaping it to be. We read something and believe it instead of questioning it and proving it. Half of the things we read are false information.
