Darkness Has Truth

by William Mae   Jan 16, 2013

Darkness Has Truth

Through the haze we see much different,
When cups are filled with only strife,
Night refuses to relinquish,
The hold it has upon our life.

Tempest winds blow through so easy,
With no resistance to the gail,
Leaves our ship torn and battered,
To then drift aimless with no sail.

Rocks scream danger every moment,
To most it's but a fleeting cry,
Passing shores offering harbor,
Without a thought we pass on by.

The sun is shinning brightly somewhere,
Birds sing and skies are blue,
But hearts that sit in clouded darkness,
Has eyes blinded by this truth.

THe darkness seems to be writing about depression The way the sun is shining somewhere and birds singing somewhere else, signifies we cant see them because we are living in a darkened time and place, in our minds

Dump out that cup and start anew..joy comes in the morning :)

As I was reading this I could picture a ship sailing towards rocks just about to crash and the captain of the ship is wishing for a sign..a light to guide him out of a darkness which in fact he is caught in rather then his ship, (hope that makes sense).

But I feel there is more to it which is hiding in darkness for the truth is just impossible to come out...take care.
