Falling apart

Im beginning to see the truth
that there really is no me and you
that everything was a lie
now it seems my heart is going to die
i fell for you
i held nothing back
even when your love was something i lacked
so ill put up walls
and not let the tears fall
i will protect my heart
and helplessly watch
as it all starts to fall a part.

    Aw...this is so sad Aubrey, sometimes putting up walls to protect yourself can be good because people are so dishonest that you need to be protective. I like the honesty and simplicity of your writes.
