Sometimes I re-read my stuff and wonder is it really poetry? I do not write no where near enough rhyming poems. This poem is a great example to us all of rhyming that is unforced. You see this phrase mentioned often, this is the real evidence. Because of this it flows so naturally without and breaks in the pace. I do enjoy reading poems that ask so many questions. This poem oozes sadness and depression and is relevant to the vast majority of people on this site who question their own ability and their own choices in life. Great write and worthy of 7 points. |
Beautiful, and well written. Mirrors so much of what's currently going on in my mind and heart. Especially moved by these lines: |

Hits home. I can't say more than that. Thank you for saying the things I couldn't tell myself. |
It's been a long time since I've read your poetry, but this was a truly beautiful piece....I love when there are more than one or two questions because it gives such a thought-provoking effect, and now I'm reflecting on my memories. Do I wish to hide from them? I think we all have those memories from our past we still cringe at, or dislike ourselves for, a moment of weakness...great flow and spoken from the heart. Take care :] |
