This piece is abstract, but I like it.
The picture is a good one as well,
My favorite stanza was this one:
There are no evident footsteps, just
circles lightly caressing the settled
dust. You were once an alchemist here-
I see the planks. Again, I'm not sure why,
but they catch my attention like you were
trying to build a harbor for your thoughts.
I felt like you were really in the painting, like you were seeing what you described here in the eyes of that someone. It expressed to me that this someone has the power to calm violent weathers, and in case, he/she can't, he/she tries to look for a safe place to stay. I think that this room in the picture is that safe place.
Perhaps, the monsoon were the thoughts of this someone. And when the thoughts final reached a conclusion, this someone was able to calmed them.
On second thoughts,... I thought this someone was trapped in this room were a he/she had a violent burst of thoughts, scratched the walls... and finally reached a point where he/she could be calmed. The last question makes me wonder.. that perhaps those walls do hide something more and that perhaps I am over thinking lol.
