Fresh Flowers

by Andrew Packard   Jan 20, 2013

Fresh Flowers Displayed,
Color something new.
Give Life to the grey,
On Backdrop of Blue.

Arrive Home Dismayed,
A gift gilded with gold.
Everything arranged,
Telling Treasure Told.

But the Real Power,
Has not it's end there.
It's the Aroma,
Spreading in the Air.

Like Sunday Morning,
On Spring's Easter Day.
Hear Angels singing?
Miraculous they say!

Beautiful Bouquet,
Joy shoots through and through.
Array Pulse Cascade,
Lifts all that you do .....

Author notes
I have taken to writing poems during church lately. This one was penned during Upward Soccer Sunday 10/14/2012 at Legacy Christian Church in Harrison, Ohio. It was a new experience, haven't been there in a while. Also been thinking about the Ark of the Covenant Lately because we watched Indiana Jones last night.
