One Shot

Sometimes I wonder why life isn't fair.

Maybe it's because God doesn't care.

Or maybe he does and we just can't see.

That he does it to teach you and me.

To look past the appearance and straight to the soul.

Or help us understand how life is told.

All I can say is to give him a shot.

Because it isn't his fault how the world turned out.
