Oh Khalid what a great, informative tanka! I really liked how straightforward it is and how it's a lesson to people who plagiarize. You have a point, as it is really frustrating when people steal other people's work! |

I agree Khalid we would be belittling ourselves if we take credits for someone else's work. Using creativity and imagination anyone can becoming a proud poet. |

This is a great write! Very true, you do not have to hold amazing language skills to be able to create your own work, it comes from within you. I always say a poem is something that has came from within you, and you have expressed it through words. So to copy someone else's work is not producing a poem at all because it did not come from inside you. |

Another great message in a few words. A good poet doesn't just write good poems; they also create their own style. I like what Rainbow Baby said about plagiarism not being poetry. Copying isn't art. |

Plagiarism ... If I think about it this world plagiarizes everything. No one truly knows who or whom came up with the first idea... Andfrom that idea other people come up with another idea but the ideas are the same just the words are arrange different... So my thoughts .. What exactly is plagiarism? Using the same idea... Or using the same exact wording? What if I just change two or three words would that be plagiarism? |
