Set me free

by Ian   Jan 20, 2013

Set me free, save my soul,
Man was not meant to live in the constrains of modern life.
Set me free let my arms rise like the morning sun and never touch the tops of the skies.
Let me run for ever and never reach the end of a green sweet smelling field.

Man was not meant to live and work under the restrains of this modern world.
Concrete binds us and grips us so tight, barely able to breath from foot to toe and with people on top of us like crates being shipped off to sea.

Man was meant to work in fields harvesting the fruits and admiring the never ending skies.
Up yonder fly the birds, the envy of my soul, they fly so free and know the freedom I so long seek for.
