Creatures of the Dark

by Monsieur Lefevre   Jan 22, 2013

I don't like horror movies.
Yes I like to watch them once in a while,
but I only watch them whenever I'm in the mood to be scared.
But when I'm not in the mood,
no.
But whenever I accidently look at a horror movie I don't roll around all night freaking out,
Looking at the dark shadows that are thrown into the corners of my bedroom,
Staring at them looking for those deep, demonic, devilish eyes that belong to a face that whenever you see eats away your soul and your stable sense of mind making you go insane from the fear that whenever you go to turn your head you will see ready to eat your flesh,
No I don't get that feeling.
I get the feeling of being scared for only like eight minutes.
Then I go to sleep.
That's it.
But the thing that keeps me up at night tossing and turning are not demonic creatures.
They're humans.
Humans are the thing that I would mostly fear to be in the shadows of my bedroom.
Because the mind of the people that are in our atmosphere in our world,
Are crazy.
I have seen twenty too many crime movies and TV shows of rape, abuse, suffering, torture, drugs, money, etc.
That freaks me out because they are real.
People could actually do the stuff that I have seen on those movies and TV shows.
People these days actually could betray their own kind.
Destroy the lives of those that were involved in the murder, kidnapping, etc.
Has anyone ever looked at that say
"This is the world we live in."
While in one city in this world people are celebrating birthday and graduation while others on the opposite side suffering and crying at funerals or are being tortured.
Right now at this very moment someone in this world has died.
People are suffering and crying.
People are scared looking for loved ones that have been taken by the creatures of the dark.
Humans. . .

I like this, but the style feels wrong and the flow seems off. well done otherwise though, could fit in the dark category, maybe. Theme is all there, point easily conveyed. a little lengthy, but its bearable. decent job hun
