Iris To Ashes

Holy cow Saffie.....YOUR TITLE has got to be one of my favorite titles Ive ever seen. I had no idea what it meant, then when I read that first stanza I was like, ok ok this is cool where is she going with this...I adore this write....so short, but so incredibly profound, so raw, and serious...You'd think that talking about burning the eyes would be gruesome but you have remained very poetic in this piece and made your poem very easy for us to understand..who doesnt want to erase some aspect of their past? I get that.
