Stolen Sun

I woke up this morning
feeling cold and alone
because someone had stolen my sun.

The sky was thick
with heavy clouds
shadowing over my mind.

I searched for you
but my efforts failed
as I became trapped
underneath the stormy sky.

I closed my eyes
and prayed for you,
wishing that you would appear.

My sunshine through the darkness,
my strength to carry on.

But I woke up this morning
feeling cold and alone
because someone had stolen my sun.
