To Be Human

by Robert   Jan 24, 2013

May we walk a road filled with knives
Ready to pierce our flesh and blood
For our lives our nothing but built up lies
where we endure the rising floods

Sinking in mistakes from what we had said
my eyes are blinded by all that I did
Never saying sorry, and soon left dead
I look for answers, some to forgive

Nature a prospect of the human mind
Something not to fight against, or even despise
Kept in ones grasp, something divine
A medicine we cant handle, as we stray to our demise

I bear the pain dealt on to me
For no one can harm me, only what I believe
The world is large and something to see
For everything there is, is only as we percieve

Yes we are all after all humans and as humans we make many a mistakes in our life. Some are regrettable ones where we do wish to take them back but cannot. Life is such and we grow by learning from our mistakes..nicely penned.

What I take from this is that in the end we are all human, make mistakes in our lives and are responsible for those mistakes and our lives. We keep searching for something we think is missing and we each perceive life differently.
