Feather

by Maple Tree   Jan 24, 2013

Eagle's spawn like
a nightingales last
encore, crossed
a sunrise of natures
dying embers,
and I know the
meaning of life,
love, and sweet
happiness-

The moment has come,
falling snow
blankets the earth,
I have lived to see
birth, shadowed
in hints of diamonds,
I'm ready to fly away
on the feathers of
tomorrow....

Reading this I can see why you are drawn so much to nature, and when it is put like this, in these poems, it has a natural calming effect, a gentle guidance to the hope that may not easily be seen.

This is beautiful, you are all in my thoughts
