Oooh, I thought Id check out your poetry as you are a new member to the free spirits, and I was astounding at what I came across, this piece was really gentle, touching and sort of one of those poems that you think "Where did this come from?", and all these different things swam in my mind, and when I read your profile, and saw that you were 21, I thought, "This guy has a talent, this guy is gentle and seems so spirited"... |

I love my guitar. That's my first thought after reading this. Awesome job. I love how open to interpretation this is. The group needs more of your words. |
I have an image of a man playing a harp in the clouded moonlight. Occasionally the amber beams reach through the clouds bathing the performing couple in spectral beauty as ghostly music, perhaps Tchaikovsky's Pathetic, floats through the wooded copse around you. |
I thought of many things when I read this but manly to in my opinion not a very bad thought was of Brandy or Whisky maybe I'm wrong to think that but it's what this piece reminded me of. it's truly a work of art and unique. I love it |
I think this poem has a lot of talent as a writter, great work |

What Ares has done very well is taken an object and given it a prequel to its existence in his hands. He has shown huge affection for his axe in this piece. For anybody who has played the guitar ( I can hold my hand up to that one) The opening line is very true and very clever. It is an instrument that masters you rather than the other way around. So much dedication is needed to play it properly and for such a long time it does feel like it is playing you. Plus line 3 is spot on, when you just can't get a chord right you do feel a bit simple. I will look past the split word in stanza 2. |
