Armed camp - war torn and incarcerated with the whole area your prison. |
Though the politics of "they" vary in degree and purpose . I am humbled by your understanding of who "they" are and pray that you will find peace in the middle. I would love to see the message of this poem reach beyond this site |

You penned this with courage, and it shows strength to live in such a society and time as this. |

Noura- I can't begin to express the sadness within this powerful small piece... you took me to a hideaway, where you can escape the madness in your dreams... and you poured that moment onto paper... wow! |

Lovely, I know the feeling. I feel I was there. I FEEL I am, there!! |
Wow Noura, this was such a strong poem....I loved how you wrote only two stanzas, because it showed the significance of each line. The scene in front of me left me scared for whatever people or culture that is unable to be free in any form. There is certainly no peace as these people seem to be harsh cold truths from the "monsters under our bed". I thought these people could have lots of meaning, maybe oppressive rulers who are targeting you or just the cruelty of reality. Was a really emotional write and what grabbed me most was how you still seem to have a calm sense about you, telling the others to come and hurry, almost making sure they make it through. A provoking read. |
Hauntingly beautiful, you're such a strong young woman,I look up to you for your strength and calm in the midst of the chaos.I salute you :-) <3 |

This was very scenic, it came alive in my mind and for a moment there I was stranded somewhere on your theater. Your style is impeccable Syrian. |
