Two Women in Man's Life [Tanka]

At first, I was drawn to read this because of the title, and yes, I thought the man has two partner at a time. But, after I finish reading, I am totally amazed by this tiny piece because it speaks the life of every man living. Great choice of words, and that makes this piece seems lovely.

Oh, I took from this a father and husband as the man, and the women are his partner and she is carrying his daughter.

This Tanka is a Masterpiece of thought provoking wisdom

And yet he has to take care of them both for a time! This is a very good piece. The mother teaches a man how to hold the heart of another.
