Moonlite Walk

by frozen rose   Jan 27, 2013

I breathe in the cool air
And walk along the path that leads nowhere
Lit up by the moon's luminosity
I can see the reflecting lights beauty
Shining upon the sleeping flowers
Replenishing their extraordinary powers
To charm me as I walk along
Cutting through the wind blowing so strong
Stars in the sky burn bright
Showing me which direction is heavens light
Which takes me further on my journey
That leads me nowhere but I feel free
To see beauty, to see dormant life
All in the peacefulness of night

Wowww the imagery in this poem blew me away. I love the last line because it truly is more peaceful at night. I love how you describe the path to nowhere and the flowers. Every single pary of this poem is powerful and heart felt. 5
