Oldies "Two"

by JaM   Jan 27, 2013

This series is of poems throughout 2012 that weren't posted...

Inspiration does not dwell,
instead it slips away.
As I drown in this void,
I envision better days.

Given the chance to see,
a wonder up close.
Renews my dull spirit,
as life hands out a dose.

Watching over the young,
that were left in my care.
Opened my eyes to purity,
one I do not share.

Their innocence is beauty,
they bring about joy.
One day I will share that,
with my own little boy.
