Gazing out at the ocean

by Merdy   Jan 28, 2013

Gazing out at the ocean, I saw nothing but it's reflection in the crystalline sky. Not a single boat moved across those thin, watery wastes. Although we stood next to each other, each of us was lost in solitude.
I could not help thinking that an ocean without a boat is lonely, but an ocean with a boat is just as lonely.
