Home at last

Here we are at last,
living in our own home.
Just one year ago,
all this was unknown.
When i take a step back,
and look at what we've done.
It took a lot of courage,
to finish what we had begun.
We both knew what we wanted,
and i do not deny it.
What if it all went wrong,
but i just had to try it.
Here we are at last,
in our own home.
Were we should have been,
many years ago.
