River in the Sky

A single leaf has levitated,
far beyond
billowy clouds, blue
powder skies,

and I-

Within specs of my eye,
foreseeing veins of eternal
grace in a lonely dew drop,

pouring into the river above-

rain on me, allow me to carry
the burdens of your emptiness
upon my shoulders,

I wish to rise high, in the heavens with you~
