Beauty Through The Window

Sitting quietly by the large glass window
watching the world pass me by
as it shares with me its unending beauty.

Watching the water calmly sway to and fro
which represents the soft gentle beats
of my now contented heart.

The morning sun has appeared behind clouds
trying to come out to brighten up
the darkness that shadowed yesterday.

A brand new morning,
a brand new day,
a chance for a brand new start.

Following the birds happily flying
through the freedom of the air
without a feather of doubt where they belong.

and I am just so grateful to be here.
