and just like that our friendship had to end
it feels like you don't care
though you call me your best friend

we've been through so much together
made tons of memories
but I guess that means nothing
and I took for granted our friendship
thinking it'd never end
yet here we are
about to go to high school
the summer of 2004
and our friendships out the door
so here's to the good times
and the bad too

something that would change this
but just know that I love you like a sister
