The scars that mark me
tell of battles I have fought
not against others
but against myself
each cut has a reason
each scar has a story
of times I fought with myself
of times I was sad
of times that I was weak
of times I hated life
I don't care what you say
if you judge me
if you think I'm pretty
cause I know one thing
I know I love them
the scars that mark me
shows times that I was strong
you may say I was weak
but trully I wasn't
if I was weak then I would of ended it
ended life ended everything
but I didn't
so I was strong
you may say that it is wrong
but who are you to judge
you don't know me
what I have been thru
what I have seen
but know this
I'm proud of my scars
they prove that I'm a fighter
that I have fought many battles
and many demons
I don't hate them
they are me
