Inky color mixed with black
trickling down my cheeks of rosy.

Preserving these emotions,
upon parchment of a long lost
tree of old.

Hewitt Packard never knew
their invention would conceal
sorrow, as a money maker.

Printing the heart as a message
to a lover, make as many copies
as you wish- each page will say
the exact same thing-

I love you

For Wild Flower- She challenged me to write a poem about a printer ;p

What a piece...what a challenge...only you could pen something about a plain old object, make it touching, make it emotional, make it metaphorical, add nature, and preserve your soul in the words.

    You flipping rock old chick...

    Flower proposed an Exceptional Challenge...

I'd say you nailed it as only you could... love how you've worded this one, inky tears and the tree representing the paper, which is where paper comes from of course, but leave it to you to bring a touch of nature into it... this is amazing!! love it...
