Impossible

by The Poet Behind The Poems   Feb 7, 2013

"Man will fly some day".

Impossible echoed the room.
I ponder this word over and
over, does it even exists?.

Two people were killed on the
same road , yet they say lightning
never strikes twice, is this not
proof?.

For years you hear "you can't do it",
says who?
Impossible is just
another way of giving up,
anything is possible
if you believe.

People can read without light,
they live in darkness, if hands
can be eyes,then imagine
what can be achieved-
If we just believed.

Very deep, inspiring poem :). "Impossible" is just a mindset, you conveyed this well near the end of this piece. "Impossible is just
    another way of giving up,
    anything is possible
    if you believe."

The rhetorical questions are very effective as this is trying to get people to open their mind and by getting people to question is a good way of doing this :)

    Wonderful write, 5/5

Wow this made me think of what i have said and scoffed as "impossible" and i find that with this poem i could believe to make them again my dreams can become reality or hasn't history taught me that?

This is awesome! Such a simple message yet so powerful. It's one that we sometimes take for granted, until we realize how true it really is. Great job, Tony!

This poem has such a wonderful meaning. Anything is possible if you just believe.

I adore the lightning analogy was amazing. As well as the last stanza talking about the blind! Just amazing!
