Love and Duty (Tanka)

Duty get's things done
for the good of all even

^^Duty, we all have them in one form or the
other. It can also be associated with responsibility and the opening lines are true it does get done whether you like it or not!

when love has been lost;
one no longer gives by heart
yet he still does by his soul.

^^This ending is in a way true. My interpretation is that even when love for doing a duty for the other vanishes the conscience within does not giver permission for you to stop. It always directs you to complete it.
