No More Flames

by Dominique Lewis   Feb 11, 2013

His flesh that was burned from that great fire,
Why did that can of gasoline have to explode,
Caleb will always be the guy that we all admire,
But right now time has slowed.

By his bedside we see his sad face,
Why did it have to happen to this sweet angel,
He looks at us with swollen eyes with such grace,
Please don't take him our great Savior.

This boy deserves to live his life and breathe this air,
He deserves to have children and grow very old,
We go to teach and every soul has him in their prayer,
All of these falling tears can not be controlled.

Let our dear darling come home to us,
Let him play and enjoy his family and games,
With him here we are all blessed,
And we will never have to deal with those awful flames.

Come home to us Caleb. We all love you.
