My Valentine

I crack a smile from the grin on your chin
the subtle tone in the joke you share
leaves me gasping for air, with a snort
in my giggle, endlessly falling in love
with the simple things you do,
we are the rocks in the mountain
of the life we climb, and it's a joy
to be sharing it with you-
